I've had Type One diabetes for 27 years and my not so perfect control of it has caused some complications such as a minor kidney distress, bleeding of the minor blood vessels in my eyes, neuropathy, etc... Any one with type one diabetes are at a high risk of developing any major disease. Accept maybe Cancer.
Outbreaks of diabetes have become alarming over the last 10 years. Even though it is not contagious it is spreading massively!Five years ago I became active in fund raising for the J.D.R.F. by donating an elegant fountain for their last Silent Auction, pledges for their annual walkathon and their awareness campaign at The Pirates of the Caribbean movie.
Diabetes research is close to a cure, however even after they perfect islet transplants they will still need funding for those transplants!
I have come up with an idea that will make, or shall I say Let Google pay for a Cure.
